Who leads: Cosmo or you

Updated

The short answer

In lead mode (the default), Cosmo looks at your plan and numbers every morning and queues the day's 1-3 best moves as cards. In follow mode ("I lead"), he does what you ask and suggests ideas now and then. You can switch any time on the Growth plan page.

Lead mode ("Cosmo leads")

  • About 30 minutes before your morning brief, Cosmo runs a daily planning pass. He reads your plan, your numbers and your waiting cards, then queues at most 3 new cards.
  • On Mondays he reviews last week first: what worked gets more budget or posts, losers get paused, and the plan is updated.
  • If 8 or more cards are already waiting, he doesn't add more. He nudges you about the backlog instead.
  • The planning run needs an active trial or plan. It also pauses if this month's AI budget is used up.

Follow mode ("I lead")

No daily planning run. Cosmo answers and acts when you text him, and still sends cards for anything that goes out.

Things you do yourself

On the Growth plan page, add areas you handle yourself, like "LinkedIn posts". Cosmo won't propose anything there, but he still helps when you ask. When you skip a card in the app with the reason "I'll do this myself", that area is added for you. Remove an area with its × to give it back to Cosmo.

How Cosmo learns

Every approve, skip and edit is counted by kind and channel. Recent rewrites and skip reasons go into Cosmo's instructions, so he keeps to the path you chose.

Questions

Does lead mode mean Cosmo acts without asking?

No. Lead mode only decides who comes up with the moves. Every move is still a card for your yes, unless you opted in to auto-approve for low-risk posts and listings.

Can I switch by text?

Yes, tell Cosmo "I'll lead from now on" or "you lead". The switch is also on the Growth plan page.
