Auto-approve for low-risk work

Updated

The short answer

Auto-approve is off by default. When it's on, Cosmo approves a card himself only if all of these are true: you're in lead mode, it's a low-risk scheduled post or directory listing from his daily planning run, and you've approved 3 or more cards of that kind on that channel in the last 30 days without skipping any. Ads, emails and spend always ask.

Turn it on during onboarding ("Auto-approve low-risk") or on the Growth plan page.

The exact rules

A card is approved for you only when every one of these holds:

  1. You opted in. Auto-approve is on.
  2. Cosmo leads. In follow mode nothing is auto-approved.
  3. It's low-risk. The card is marked low risk.
  4. It's a scheduled post or a directory listing. Posts set to go out right away never qualify. Ads, budgets, emails, articles, creatives and DMs never qualify.
  5. You've done it before. In the last 30 days you approved 3 or more cards of the same kind on the same channel (for example "post · LinkedIn") and skipped none of them.
  6. It came from the daily planning run. Cards created while you chat always wait for you.
  7. No outside text was involved. If that run read third-party content (competitor ads, web pages, other people's posts), nothing from it is auto-approved, because that text could have steered it.

A scheduled post can still be pulled before its time. To stop auto-approval, untick the box. One skip of that kind also stops it for that channel until you approve 3 more.
